Shure 330 Ribbon Microphones

These Shure microphones were produced from 1957 to 1983 and is often associated with Johnny Carson. These ribbon microphones are super-cardioid unlike the more common figure-8 polar patterns of most ribbon mics. They are very natural sounding in the mid range, and have a smooth, slightly dark hi end. We love them on drum overheads, front of kit, room mics, acoustic guitar, piano, and vocals. We have a clean pair of these serviced, modified, and upgraded by Stephen Sank (son of Jon Sank who designed and oversaw production of the famed era of classic RCA microphones).
